Writtle College, a further education provider, now part of ARU, is located at the ARU Writtle campus on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex.
We offer a wide range of exciting courses in land-based, creative and sports subjects, designed for learners aged 16-18, as well for adult learners and businesses looking to upskill their workforce. You'll find pathways to higher education not only here at ARU Writtle but also at our campuses in Chelmsford, Cambridge, and Peterborough.
Situated on a stunning 150-hectare estate, Writtle College takes pride in being a small, specialised college that places students at the heart of everything we do. At ARU Writtle, you'll have access to fantastic facilities including a dedicated equine centre, a working farm, a centre for sports and health, modern science laboratories, beautiful ornamental gardens, design workshops, a new canine therapy and dog grooming centre, and an animal centre home to around 200 species.
