to MEWP - Use of a Chainsaw from a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (NPTC) 003938
This course is for those intending to use a chainsaw from a MEWP. Topics covered include: health and safety, legislation, maintenance, safety checks and the removal of lateral limbs and vertical stem sections. Two consecutive days training followed by a one day NPTC assessment.

This intensive practical course requires a good level of physical fitness and an ability to study written technical information.
Participants must be competent in Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross-cutting, Felling and the operation of a MEWP.
