Course description
Get creative, develop your floristry skills, and prepare for a career in the industry with our Level 2 Technical Certificate in Floristry, at Writtle College.
As a student at Writtle College, you’ll learn about different flowers and plants and how to look after them.
We’ll look at what professional florists need to know, including their tools, environment, and the finishing touches that make a difference. You’ll develop an understanding of design principles and how you can apply these to the creation of floristry products.
Floristry is a major industry in the UK, worth about £2 billion a year, and so we’ll also explore how businesses operate and the skills you need to interact with customers and successfully identify their requirements.
