Course description
Develop your understanding of nutrition, and the knowledge and skills to support sportspeople, with our MSc Sport, Exercise and Nutrition at ARU Writtle.
Sports nutrition is an area experiencing massive growth, with virtually every professional club and elite athlete now employing or using the services of a sport nutritionist.
Our course is designed to develop your academic expertise and employment potential.
It’s taught by blended learning, meaning you’ll take part in face-to-face sessions on campus (likely to be over four weekends and two full-week sessions), as well as supported online sessions, and independent learning. As part of the course, we’ll evaluate and critique nutrition information from a variety of sources.
You’ll develop a deeper, critical understanding of the importance of nutrition and an ability to use this knowledge to support sporting populations.
As a student at ARU Writtle you’ll have access to specialist facilities including the Centre of Sport and Health, with its sports laboratory, strength and conditioning suite, and private consulting rooms. There’s also a sports hall, gym, and sports grounds.
Our Masters degree is ideal if you want to develop your knowledge of sports nutrition and take the next step in your career.
