Course description
For GDP's the day will serve to increase dentist’s familiarity and confidence on the general subject of endodontics. At the same time we will be upskilling their nurses in clinical endodontics so that endodontic treatment – seen by some to be a stressful procedure – may be regarded by the pair as an enjoyable part of the treatment day.
For the Dental Nurses this day will help to enhance your endodontic skills, increase your performance, help you work more closely as a team and show you that endodontics can be interesting, efficient and effective.
During the day you will learn how to work four handed, understand how to correctly transfer instruments, learn how to prepare rubber dam ready for placement, refresh your knowledge on setting up the bay for ease and speed, management of irrigation, mixing and presentation of materials and decontamination.
Objectives for the GDP's:
By attending this course you will:
1) learn modern rotary canal preparation techniques
2) learn modern warm obturation techniques
3) be trained to better lead the DN through four handed endodontic treatment progression

By attending this course you will:
1) Demonstrate comprehensive team work with your clinician
2) Develop skills to improve chairside working techniques
3) learn how to identify the correct instruments and materials for Endodontic procedure.
