Floristry Level 2 Diploma: This course offers an excellent introduction if you are considering a career in floristry and have a passion for flowers. Learn a range of practical techniques including gift-wrapping, hand-tied bouquets and constructing arrangements. You also build up your knowledge of the principles of floristry design and retailing through assignment work. To support this, you will need to gain industry experience in a retail florist shop. You are assessed on your practical skills and written assignments. You can progress on to the Floristry Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma and/or enter the industry as an employed or self-employed florist, depending on your results.Please note, you will be expected to purchase your own supply of flowers each week and to adhere to Health & Safety rules.
