The Diploma in Care is for adult care workers, support workers, key workers, healthcare support workers and assistants in a range of healthcare settings. This could be in residential/nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres, a person's own home or some clinical healthcare settings. Course Content
The qualification contains units which are competence based and several knowledge based units. The qualification is structured in a way which will require you to complete a group of mandatory units, the content of which is required across any adult care or healthcare support role at level 2. In addition there is a wide range of optional units to support areas of specialism, including:

Suitability - Who should attend?
16 years or over To complete basic initial assessment achieving a minimum level 1 in maths and English Preferable GCSE Grades 4 -9 (GCSE A-C) Employment in the Health and Social Care Adult sector is essential working a minimum of 10 hours per week.
