Course description
This is for people who are working in the care sector who are experienced within the job and/or industry. They will be a leader of a care team. To do this course you must be employed within the Adult Care sector.To do this course you must be employed within the sector.
This is a qualification replaces previous versions Health & Social Care diploma. The diploma is in place to assess the learner’s competency relating to the health and social care sector.
They may be a registered manager, deputy manager or assistant manager of a service or unit. They will run the service to ensure it is compliant.

Suitability - Who should attend?
To become an apprentice, you must:
- be 16 or over
- not already be in full-time education
- live in England
You can start an apprenticeship whether you’re starting your career, want a change or you’re upskilling in your current job. You can have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship.
Expenses
Participants can enrol in the training course through either self-funding or company sponsorship.
