Run in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU), this innovative programme provides you with the broadest possible exposure to professional practice, experience and a variety of teaching methods, as you develop the knowledge, skills and understanding to flourish in teaching.
This is essentially a two-year programme, made up of the Diploma in Education and Training (Year 1: Level 5 qualification) followed by the Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (Year 2: Level 6 qualification). You will want to teach and be passionate about the opportunities education offers.

- Curriculum
- Professional practice
You will analyse what it means to support learners, explore professional issues, participate in a research activity and plan your next stage of professional development.
There is also the opportunity for English and Maths teachers to complete modules in their own specialist areas. Reflective practice is central your studies.
You will need a first degree if you want to undertake the Professional Graduate Certificate in Education pathway, Year 2.
