If you are creative, love flowers, enjoy variety, and like working with people then a career as a florist could be just perfect for you, and this course will take you there. This is a highly commercial course designed to give you all the skills you need to become a retail florist. A career in floristry means variety. Your customers will expect you to be able to create beautiful designs for a wide range of events and occasions. You will learn about all aspects of floristry including arrangements, hand-ties, wedding, funeral designs, function d?cor and display. You will also develop essential business, customer service and retail skills.

Suitability - Who should attend?
You will have 2 or more GCSE grades at D or above, including English or Maths, or you will have successfully completed an appropriate Level 1 qualification. If you are a mature student, previous work experience, enthusiasm and motivation to succeed and to progress will be taken into account. We welcome applications from mature students who are looking for a new challenge or a change of career.
