Course description
This is an excellent course designed to develop your skills and knowledge within this growing area of construction, enabling you to progress into work in the Painting and Decorating industry. It has been specifically developed to be delivered in a training environment using simulated conditions and a wide range of practical tasks and skills. The test(s) are based on the learner showing what they can do as an individual through the completion of all the requirements of the qualification.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course has been designed for students who are progressing from the Painting and Decorating Level 1 Construction Diploma or who would like to further their studies and enhance their Painting and Decorating skills. This course is also for those completing a Painting and Decorating Level 2 Apprenticeship, as the two qualifications can be gained together.
Training Course Content

Course delivery details
Practical and theory will be assessed using a combination of several diverse practical tasks, written tests and online multiple-choice questions. You will be entered for the tests when your lecturer feels that you have developed suitable understanding and skills. Most of the study is done within the College but on occasion extra work may be required at home. You will have access to the college web site where all e-study books, hand-outs and resources are available to help your progression and learning.
