Course description
Northern Ireland: The Movement of Goods
Under the Northern Ireland Protocol that came into force on 1 January 2021, when the United Kingdom left the European Union, trade between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK became controlled under customs regulations. Understanding your responsibilities under the new procedures when sending goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland can seem a difficult and challenging prospect, with British companies having to manage many changes, deal with many new procedures and perhaps even complete customs entries for the first time.
