Course description
Introduction
Whether or not you've any experience of yoga this course will help you explore Iyengar yoga practices, basic poses and breathing exercises.
You'll start by studying the essential movements which we'll then piece together into a classical yoga practice. Iyengar yoga takes its name from BKS Iyengar who, for more than 60 years, has developed his own innovative and inspiring approach to classical yoga. Iyengar places an emphasis on the scientific precision of movement and a methodical approach. It aims to reduce stress and improve relaxation as well as flexibility and muscle tone.
