Course description
This course will benefit anyone who would like to further their skills in clothes making. This course could enhance your job prospects or give you an insight to continue on to a full time fashion course. You will learn the necessary skills to: Use a sewing machine and industrial steam iron; Take accurate body measurements; Produce a simple garment using a pattern; Select an appropriate fabric for the chosen pattern; Interpret and read pattern instructions; Cut out and lay up the pattern correctly; Sew a garment whilst using a range of sewing techniques.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Students must have completed the ‘Clothes making - Beginners’ course or have some experience of clothes making. You must be able take notes.
