Course description
The Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations is an advanced course designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of electricians, focusing on complex installation techniques and compliance with industry standards, preparing participants for more challenging roles in the electrical industry.
The Level 3 Diploma is the industry recognised route to continuing on your journey to becoming a fully qualified electrician.
This course will provide the eligibility for you to work in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.

Suitability - Who should attend?
The City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 Course is ideally suited for those who have finished the Level 2 Diploma 2365 course or similar level 2 qualifications. After completing this course, you can proceed to the Level 3 NVQ portfolio, also referred to as the bridging unit. This will enable you to apply for JIB (Gold Card) membership, contingent upon successfully completing the AM2.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
Upon completion of the level 3 you can work within the trade unsupervised. By completing the Level 3 Diploma you will be able to continue to further your qualifications and complete the NVQ Level 3 award and AM2 assessment enabling you to qualify for ECS Gold Card Status.

Course delivery details
We run this course twice a year and the start periods are either September/October (Auntumn Term) or January/February (Spring Term). Please contact us for availability.
There are three options for this course. Weekdays, weekends or evenings as detailed below:
- Weekdays - Monday and Tuesdays - 9.30am - 4.30pm.
- Weekdays - Wednesdays & Thursdays - 9.30am - 4.30pm
- Evenings - Monday and Tuesdays - 6:30pm - 9:30pm
- Evenings - Wednesdays & Thursdays - 6:30pm - 9:30pm
- Weekends - Saturday and Sundays - 9.30am - 4.30pm.
