Course description

Whilst the compulsory requirement for all solicitors to attend MCS1 in the first 3 years of admission may have been removed by the SRA, the core skills required of all solicitors remain.


Aimed at solicitors in their first 3 years of PQE, this virtual classroom seminar will explore the key skills areas which all practitioners must develop, all of which are aligned to the 4 Core Competency sections of the SRA Threshold Standard in the Competency Statement.


Speaker Jeremy Holt will discuss managing your learning and development, negotiating solutions to client problems, dealing with mistakes, establishing and maintaining effective and professional relations with clients and colleagues, and much more.
