Course description
This live and interactive session will provide those who are new to clinical negligence with a comprehensive guide through the entire process of litigation - from issuing the claim form all the way to judgment.
It will cover how to issue proceedings, which court, what law and what you need to serve with the Claim Form. Filing (e-filing, CE file) will be outlined, together with how to serve documents. Certificates of service will be discussed, as will challenging defences. Drafting directions, preparing for a CCMC and attending a CCMC - including Prec H and Prec R preparation will also be explored by "brilliant" presenter Natalie Cosgrove.
Natalie is an a partner at Ashtons Legal, having qualified as a barrister in 2008 and cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2011, so is well-placed to offer guidance in this area.
