Course description

If you’re looking to dive into Digital Marketing for your business, you have been running Digital Marketing for a while and want to learn more, then this course is for you.

Over 2 consecutive days, this course will equip you with practical skills and knowledge to take away and implement straight away into your own business or website.

You will learn 6 essential areas of Digital Marketing: SEO, Website Optimisation (CRO), Google Ads, Google Analytics, Email and Social Media

Along the way, we will show you plenty of hints, tips and shortcuts.

This is a practical 2-day training course that will give you the knowledge and practical skills you need to know in order to get to grips with and run your own digital marketing.

You will learn the basics of 6 essential areas of Digital Marketing to help you create a fully rounded digital marketing strategy.

From sending engaging email campaigns, tweaking your website to improve conversions, optimising for search, running ads and using social media you will come away from the training with the foundations to build and implement your own digital marketing strategy.

Suitability - Who should attend?

This training course is ideal for anyone who is new to the world of digital marketing or anyone who is wants to increase the presence or traffic to their website through online sources.

This course does not require any specific prior knowledge.  However, it is expected that delegates will have some understanding of digital marketing or, have some responsibility for the marketing of a company or organisation.

Digital Marketing Course Topics

This two-day course is broken down into 6 areas of Digital Marketing (Download the full course outline), these are:

Website Design Optimisation: Learn how to optimise your website to help turn more of your visitors into sales and leads (It is not a Graphic Design or Website Development course).

Search Engine Optimisation: Learn how you can achieve higher ranking in search engines (particularly Google) using on-page and off-page SEO techniques.

Google Analytics and Search Console: Gain a better understanding of your website traffic, where visitors come from and what they do, measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and more. It also covers Search Console.

Google Ads: Learn the basics of setting up and optimising Google Ads (aka AdWords) campaigns including strategy, targeting the right keywords, building and optimising campaigns.

Email Marketing: Understand key rules for creating successful email marketing campaigns and learn how to evaluate email design and structure to increase open and click-through rates.

Social Media Marketing: Get an overview of the main social media channels and how best to utilise them. Includes Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

You will be given a Digital Marketing strategy template and during the course, you will be able to start building your ideas for the strategy for your business/organisation to maximise the effectiveness of your Digital Marketing activities.

Our 5 star rated Digital Marketing courses are practical courses with small class sizes, a maximum of 6 delegates, which allows for plenty of time to interact with the trainer and ask any questions!

These are held as in-person classroom courses or as live, online courses (over Zoom). All courses, run from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, with plenty of breaks.
