This one-day course will provide Participants with a clear understanding of the protocols and requirements of the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9. It is designed to equip Participants with the knowledge of what to expect and the skills needed before, during, and after the audit.

Changes between BRCGS Issue 7, 8, and 9 - which course do I need to follow?

This course replaces the old training course BRCGS Food Safety Issue 8 workshop, which was set up to give a briefing on the core changes between the former Issues 7 and 8. With the recently released Issue 9, this course is the ideal one to start with.

Suitability - Who should attend?

Existing Certification body auditors or new auditors seeking registration, consultants, as well as technical and quality managers who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of the audit process.

Participants should download and read a copy of the new Global Food Safety Issue 9 Standard before attending.

Outcome / Qualification etc.

Participants successfully completing the course will be awarded a BRCGS Certificate issued by the BRCGS. Our course tutors are Approved Training Providers for BRCGS. They are experienced with extensive practical knowledge across a wide range of sectors including food manufacturing, retail, and hospitality.
