CACHE Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings (C1CHYF)
There are a range of units covering all aspects of Health Care and Childcare such as Communication, Health and Safety, Provision of services, Equality and inclusion, supporting babies, play activities for children, human growth and development. English and maths for health care and early years.

- Entry requirements
Entry Level 3 in numeracy and literacy, which will be assessed at the interview.
Candidates require a DBS check. - Who is the course for?
This course is for young people 16-18 who want to work in the caring industry however are unsure as to what specific age group they would like to work in. It lasts 34 weeks and you will attend College approx 4 days a week. You will be expected to gain work experience in a nursery or Health Care setting. This course will help you develop practical experience of working with children and adults, as well as provide the underpinning knowledge needed for a career in Health, Social care and Childcare.
Continuing Studies
Progression to an Apprenticeship Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce or the diploma in health and social Care apprenticeship programme. Also Level 2 Diploma in Health Care or Early Years.
