What are sewing classes?
In a nutshell, sewing classes are short practical courses intended to inspire and build your confidence in the craft by providing you with a broad knowledge of the skills and methods required for sewing and fashion making at all levels.
Through regular group projects and demonstrations, you will be taught the basics of sewing theory and techniques, as well as guided through numerous aspects, such as how to make clothes confidently from start to finish, share ideas and make your own garments. Additionally, through structured Q&A’s with certified tutors and experts, you will also get the opportunity to inquire and learn more about these techniques (and plenty of others) before trying them out for yourself!
Towards the end, you will eventually be given the opportunity to create your own clothes and patterns whilst practicing numerous techniques, such as Marking Fabric, Stitching, Underlining, as well as Hemming.

Whether you like to sew simply as a hobby, or possibly even dream of becoming a professional tailor and running your own business, these sewing and fashion making classes will provide you with all the tips and tricks to help you master the craft.
Through an extensive hands-on approach, your tutors will help you get a basic feel and understanding of several core aspects and techniques, enhancing your overall knowledge and expectations. Throughout, you will be given the tasks of working on your own project(s) as well as group assignments, giving you the opportunity to learn from others and practice an even wider variety of techniques. Similarly, you will also be taught how to read patterns and charts, properly use a sewing machine, and all types of needles.
Several modules covered throughout these courses include:
