Is this course right for me?
This qualification is ideal for individuals who have management/team leader responsibilities but no formal management training or qualifications. This course provides a good introduction to managing self and others and supports practising team leaders and managers who need to lead individuals and teams effectively to achieve business results.
Are there any formal entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however those who join this programme should ideally already be in a management or team leader role or planning to move into a management/team leader role in the next 12 months.
Please note that for our online programmes, you are required to have access to suitable IT resources (access to a laptop/PC/iPad/tablet) and an internet connection to be able to access the ‘live’ online workshops.
Training Course Content
This qualification is made up of a range of modules covering core management skills and this flexibility in module choice allows the qualifications to be tailored to meet the needs of those participating in the programme. The range of modules we offer as part of this programme fall into the following areas:
- Core management skills – such as understanding how to organise and participant
- Ability to perform management tasks – manage projects, lead meetings
- Team leadership – how to motivate people to improve performance
- Change and innovation – plan and manage change, create a culture of innovation
- Effective communications skills
- Managing people and relationships – negotiation, networking, building relationships
