Course description
This online course provides an introduction to Building Management Systems (BMS). You will gain an understanding of the role and typical components of a BMS, the fundamentals of control theory, data gathering systems, and how a BMS can be used to optimise building performance. You can also carry out a feasibility study into which type of BMS to install in your organisation.
This course is self-paced and can be started at any time. It forms part of the EI's Level 2: Building Management Systems (BMS) wider training qualification.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is recommended for those with 1-2 years of experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A-level maths or equivalent.

Successful completion of this course results in receiving the EI's Level 2: Certificate in Building Management Systems (BMS).
