Course description
We all have unconscious bias built in us, most of which comes from a young age. Identifying our bias, why it exists and how it impacts not only ourselves but also those around us is key to being able to overcome it. This session will help participants to understand the impact of biases in the workplace, and supply them with practical tools and strategies that can be applied to their everyday lives.
Having an awareness of personal values and beliefs that can affect how we interact with other individuals can help to align us with our peers and customers. Crossroads Global’s training aims at developing an understanding of the impact of unconscious bias in the workplace. Participants will be able to recognise and mitigate the negative impact of bias through a series of practical tools, strategies and frameworks that they can apply to their roles straight away.
The workshop has been successful in creating mindfulness about the impact of unconscious bias in daily interactions. Participants gain tangible, behavioral tactics for recognising and managing the impact of unconscious bias in different stages of the employee life cycle, such as recruitment, promotion, talent development and retention.
