Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
In this course, you’ll learn about the acronym DIBs, which stands for diversity, inclusion, and belonging. You’ll learn what these terms mean, why you need all three to achieve success, and what workplace benefits you can expect with a DIBs culture. What does it take for employees to feel welcome? Understand six tips that every employee can follow to foster belonging within your organization. Techniques to retain diverse talent and the benefits.
Unconscious Bias
In this course, you’ll learn about unconscious bias, including what it is and why it happens. Then, we’ll explore the workplace consequences of acting on such biases and why it’s important to build awareness of unconscious biases. Recognize five types of unconscious bias and how to overcome biases.
Working Across Cultures
The goal of Working Across Cultures is to increase staff members' capacity to collaborate with individuals from different cultural backgrounds. Gain insight into how to interact and communicate more effectively with people from various cultures. Adapt your behaviors and expectations depending on who you're interacting with. Adapting your persuasion techniques and decision-making styles to cultural norms.
Discrimination
In this course, you’ll learn to overcome the roadblocks and take an active role in creating a respectful environment. We’ll start by defining respect and illustrating what it looks like. Then we'll outline the benefits of a respectful workplace and unpack some basic steps for building one. What is harassment and discrimination and explore some examples of each behavior type. In the end, you’ll get an assessment to check if your conduct, or that of others, is supporting a safe and respectful work environment.
Workplace Well-Being
Investing in your employees’ well-being is synonymous with investing in your company’s well-being. In this course, you’ll learn why a happy and healthy workforce contributes to a sustainable and profitable business. Increase awareness of your employee wellness programs and discover a few best practices for developing your wellness messaging.
