Course description
All our courses are designed to cover the full range of topics and tasks as laid down by the awarding body in response to industry requirements. All practical activities are carried out within our state-of-the-art workshops under the supervision of industry skilled instructors, and theory work will be a mix of classroom assignments and exam activities delivered by lecturing staff that have a wide range of industry skills. Units to be studied over the two year period are: Unit 201 Health and safety in building services engineering Unit 301 Understand the fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems Unit 302 Science Unit 303 Fault Diagnosis Unit 304 Inspection and Testing Unit 305 Electrical Design Unit 308 Career Awareness The units of Inspection and Testing with Fault Diagnosis and Rectification are undertaken in year 2. It is possible to undertake this course if you are progressing from a Level 2 electrical course such as the C&G 2330.

You will need your City & Guilds 2365 Diploma in Electrical Installation at Level 2 to start this course. Alternatively the City & Guilds 2330 at Level 2
