Course description
A part time course teaching a nationally recognised qualification designed to provide an understanding of the beauty industry and theory of the human anatomy at Level 2. Delivered in our excellent facilities with brand new well equipped training salons using professional equipment and high quality commercial products. Topics: manicure, pedicure, facials, make-up, eye treatments, waxing, working in the beauty industry, health and safety, client care and communication, promote products and services to clients, salon reception duties, create an image – designed on make-up and beauty techniques covered , work experience.
You should have an interest in the beauty industry and be committed to learning the skills you need for your career.

Please note that GCSE resits are not included in this course.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Applicants must have at least ESOL Level 1 or BKSB Level 1 English and provide a personal reference. You must have a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a smart appearance and a good work reference.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
Beauty Therapy City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma or work in salons, department store, hotels or health spas.
