MEWP - Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (NPTC) 001702
This one day integrated training and assessment programme is for those wishing to work from a MEWP. Topics covered will include: health and safety, legislation, maintenance, safety checks, operation and preparing the platform for transport.
We are able to offer training on the following machine types; vehicle mounted up to 26 metres, trailer mount / push around, scissor lift, self-propelled boom or spider. The training will take into account the operational differences relevant to that machine.

Suitability - Who should attend?
The module requires reading and interpreting of information such as safety instructions and technical knowledge. This intensive practical course requires a good level of physical fitness and an ability to study written technical information.
We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations therefore participants will not be allowed to start the course without wearing steel toe capped boots or shoes and suitable protective clothing which provides full cover for arms and legs. We strongly recommend participants also wear a high visibility vest.
