If you enjoy working in the countryside, our Level 3 Diploma at Writtle College will give you the practical skills and knowledge you need to make a start on your career.
The land and wildlife sector encompasses everything to do with the management of upland, lowland, woodland and wetland game and wildlife species.
With this Level 3 Technical Diploma in Land and Wildlife Management, you’ll study a range of subjects related to the countryside and land management. These include estate maintenance skills, population surveys, safe use of equipment and machinery, land use and recreation, and pest and predator control.
You’ll learn theory in the classroom and get hands-on experience on our countryside campus, and through work experience.

Suitability - Who should attend?
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 or A*-C; must include English, Maths and Science.
- Alternative qualifications or experience will be considered on application.
