Climbing Trees and Aerial Rescue (NPTC) 003922
This course is for those wishing to climb trees and perform aerial rescue. Topics covered will include: regulations, industry best practice, climbing equipment, access and movement techniques within trees to achieve work positions. Five consecutive days training followed by a one day NPTC assessment.
Suitability - Who should attend?
The module requires reading and interpreting of information such as safety instructions and technical knowledge and prepares participants for NPTC independent assessment. This intensive practical course requires a good level of physical fitness and an ability to study written technical information.
There is no pre-requisite for this course however participants must be comfortable working at heights in excess of 10 meters.
