Course description
Covenants and easements have significance to the majority of freehold land within England and Wales. These could therefore have implications in relation to both the value of the freehold and the ability to develop the land.
This course will reference actual situations and case law through worked examples.
On this short course you'll:
- outline the different types of covenants and easements
- consider how to distinguish between a positive and restrictive covenant
- consider easements with particular reference to rights of light
- look at recent decisions and their implications
