Course description
On completion of this postgraduate level short course participants should be able to critically appraise policy, concepts and clinical responses to the challenge of primary healthcare inequalities and social exclusion.
Covering issues such as homelessness, imprisonment and deprivation this course will appeal to those working in homeless services and prisons and also health professionals more broadly interested in health inequalities and social exclusion.
The Course Leader has more than 15 years experience working with deprived and marginalised patient groups and for the last 10 years has been contributing to the evidence for best practice. For the last 7 years he has also worked as a UK government advisor on issues of drug treatment and prison health care and is therefore uniquely placed to support you in your learning.
