BESPOKE study days at the request of the trusts in terms 2 and 3.
Two study days which will cover why children are different, how to take a comprehensive history and undertake a physical assessment.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Nurses working in a primary care and in patient setting who need to develop and enhance their head to toe assessment skills of a presenting child (not neonates).
Outcome / Qualification etc.
- To prepare staff working in children’s clinical environments to take a history and simple examination of presenting symptoms. Take a history from a child, young person, their family or carers
- Carry out a physical examination to determine the presenting signs and symptoms
- Know how to complete an appropriate referral and communicate their findings
