Clinical Chest and Abdomen Image Reporting

This module forms part of the postgraduate certificate pathway in Chest aand Abdomen Image Reporting.  To study this module you also need to study the module Interpreting Chest & Abdomen Images and have the support of your imaging department clinical director/manager. The module will enable the student to develop competence in the clinical reporting of chest and abdomen images

Predominantly learning will be undertaken in the clinical environment. Directed study, supported by use of the VLE, will develop student skills to undertake independent reporting practice. This will be further enhanced by clinical tutorials and experiential learning facilitated by clinical partners. Within the academic environment peer support enhances the practical learning and communication skills are developed in both written and oral methods.
