Advanced Communication Skills Module

A crucial element of providing quality healthcare is effective communication. On a daily basis healthcare professionals are faced with a range of challenging situations requiring advanced communication skills. This module will help you:

• Build upon existing communication skills
• Practice using skills to elicit concerns and give person centred responses
• Develop enhanced communication skills for dealing with complex and challenging situations
• Enhance effective communication within your team

The first three days of the module incorporate many of the evidence based features and learning and teaching approaches tried and tested on the Connected© advanced communication skills programme with an emphasis on student participation. Attendance for the whole of these three days is essential to successfully complete the module.
