CompTIA A+ Computer Hardware Certificate:
An internationally recognised qualification for computer technicians. Covers hardware, operating systems and basic networking. Building systems from components, upgrading, repairing, and troubleshooting. Requires some prior knowledge or experience. Assessed through two rigorous computer-based theory examinations. Attending the Introduction to Computer systems or equivalent is highly recommended before doing A+. Successful students can progress to the Network + course.
