The course will offer practical information for a correct clinical approach to a feline patient with cancer. After a practical discussion of principles of diagnosis and treatment with special reference to the feline species, the speaker will review the management of three feline cancers in general practice. At the end of the day there will be an interactive discussion of clinical cases.

Learning objectives
By the end of this course the delegates should have an understanding and ability in the following areas:
- Selecting appropriate tests for the correct and prompt diagnosis of feline cancers
- Understanding the general indications for surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy in the treatment of the feline cancer patient
- Being able to select tests to formulate a prognosis and treatment plan and communicate it to the owner for feline patients with alimentary lymphoma, mammary tumours and feline injection site sarcoma
