This course is a practical guide for the general practitioner to the correct diagnosis and management of two very frequently diagnosed cancers. The diagnosis of lymphoma and mast cell tumours are also a frequent reason why specialist advice or referral is sought. The course delegates will receive a practical overview of the diagnostic tests and clinical staging for both cancers. Indications for multimodal therapy and details of chemotherapy protocols will be provided and discussed. The day will include interactive discussion of clinical cases to enhance the learning experience.

This course is suitable for general practitioners of any level of experience. The course can be an introduction for the least experienced or work as an update, for example, certificate holders. General principles of diagnosis and treatment are discussed alongside the most recent advances and rescue protocols through both simple and complex cases.
