Course description
What will I learn?
If you’re currently a fully qualified passenger carrying vehicle (PCV) license holder and would like to become a PCV driving instructor to other drivers, then this is the course for you. Over a period of 13 days, you’ll cover a wide range of areas to help prepare you for a future role as a driving instructor. You’ll focus on lesson planning and development, learning how to use PowerPoint presentations for classroom courses and how to effectively run lessons for trainees and learners. Alongside the theoretical aspects of the course such as theory paper tests and the highway code, you’ll also spend time understanding on-road driving instruction so that you can deliver effective training for learner drivers.
