Types of Courses Offered
Courses
At The Manchester College opportunities are endless, think of a subject and we probably offer it. We have courses in Animal Management, Applied Science, Automotive and Engineering, Business, Caring, Health and Social Care, Computing and IT, Construction, Creative and Digital Media, Design and Visual Arts, English as an Additional Language, Hair and Beauty, Hospitality and Catering, Music, Performing Arts, Sport and Public Services, Tourism, Retail and Leisure.
Course Levels
The Manchester College offers various qualifications. Depending on your qualifications, experience and how you like to learn will determine which type of qualification you will study with us.
The levels we offer are:
- Entry/Level 1 - suitable for those with no GCSEs
- Level 2- the same level as GCSEs and once completed are equivalent to two to four GCSEs
- Level 3 – include A levels and BTEC/NVQ vocational programmes
- Apprenticeships - suitable for those who want to earn money while learning skills on the job. Apprenticeships are available at Level 2, 3 and 4 or above
- Degree courses – Foundation Degrees and Degrees
