Introduction
Are you ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate about Performing Arts?
On this course, you will develop your creativity and improve your skills as an actor, dancer and singer. Taking part in a variety of exciting projects, you will explore creative ideas and processes, developing your communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Throughout this course you will be supported to expand your knowledge, extend your skills and explore areas that interest you.
Achieve a Diploma in your first year of study then top up to complete the Extended Diploma in year two. The Extended Diploma will allow you study, the subject in greater depth and to specialise in a chosen area. An Extended Diploma is the same as a set of A-levels and is a great route into university.
On this course, you will gain a range of skills and the necessary confidence to succeed at University and to work in this highly competitive and constantly changing industry.
If you already have a UAL Level 3 Diploma or a BTEC 90 credit Diploma from another college, you can choose to top up to the Extended Diploma with just one year of study.
Next Steps
From the UAL Level 3 Diploma, move up to the Extended Diploma. From the Extended Diploma, move on to studying at degree, HNC or HND at university level, go on to drama school or work as a performer or in backstage roles.

Four GCSEs A*-C with English at A*-D (4-9); OR a relevant Level 2 diploma at least at merit plus English assessed by us to be at an appropriate level. You'll also have an audition (monologue or dance solo) in order to make sure the course is a good match for you.
