RHS Practical Horticulture Level 2 Certificate: This course is perfect for gardeners who are keen to expand their knowledge and gain qualifications to start a career in horticulture. You will focus on developing essential horticultural skills that not only offer opportunities for employment, but also provide the foundation for further skills development at Level 3.Units you study include soil testing, sowing seeds & vegetative propagation techniques, ground preparation & planting, care & pruning of plants, identification of a range of common garden plants, weeds, pests, diseases, disorders & beneficial organisms; and establishing, repairing and maintaining will carry out assessed practicals and plant identification tests, and also produce written evidence including risk will attend College on Saturdays as follows:In 2019 the classes run on: 14th & 28th September, 19th October, 9th November and 7th 2020 the classes run on: 11th January, 8th February, 7th & 28th March, 25th April, 16th May and 6th June.
