Golf Greenkeeper Level 2 Diploma Apprenticeship: You will be responsible for the maintenance, care and overall appearance of a golf course. You will maintain a good quality playing surface as well as undertaking environmental and ecological operations, bunker maintenance, laying turf, planting trees & shrubs plus developing wildlife will learn about the preparation of the golf course for play, using specialist equipment to maintain & renovate turf surfaces, applying turf treatments & controlling weeds, fungal diseases, pests & turf disorders, maintaining & renovating bunkers, maintaining drainage & irrigation systems, how to identify plants and trees, soil & plant biology and basic computer skills. At the end of your apprenticeship, you will need to pass the End Point Assessment test. This involves the completion of a portfolio of evidence, a series of practical assessment tests and a professional discussion.
