Course description
Saturday Pottery for Families Extra child: This is a fun and practical course giving you an opportunity to create with clay together. Clay can be shaped into anything. You and your child will be introduced to many possibilities through an exciting project during the course, such as handbuilding, slab building, and pinch pots.
This course is for designed for you and your child to experience pottery together. The price includes one adult and one child, however you can book a place for an extra child at an additional cost. Children should be aged seven and upwards. Course outcomes
On this course you will :
� prepare your clay
� make an animal using slab and pinch techniques
� make a bowl for your breakfast
� have a go on the electric potter's wheel
� glaze your work
There are design opportunities and challenges within each simple task, and you will go home with some lovely handmade items to be proud of.
