What will I learn?
The course explores what we as parents and people working with children can do to bring up independent, responsible children. You will be introduced to methods, strategies and techniques for bringing up happy, co-operative and confident children. Adults will learn the creative skills and knowledge that could inspire and enhance career prospects. You will learn: to understand how our behaviour as parents/carers effect children in our care; About setting and maintaining boundaries; to use simple and specific language skills to communicate and motivate children; to identify feelings and emotions from a different prospective; to demonstrate practical step by step strategies and skills for improving co-operation and reducing conflict.

There are no special requirements. However, a fair command of spoken and written English is needed to take part in discussion and recording personal notes. You must be able to commit to the full course with the intention of attending every session.
