The IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Workers course is an excellent way to provide your employees with the core knowledge needed to stay safe on construction sites and embed good understanding and techniques into their daily work practice.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is intended for anyone who works on or around a construction site or anyone who has cause to visit it in their course of work. In addition to this one day programme, we will also book you onto the CITB H&S test at the test centre within our centre premises at a date and time convenient to you.
Prerequisites
There are no pre-course requirements for this course.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
On completion of this course, delegates will be able to:
- Understand the importance of working safely on a construction site.
- Identify everyone’s responsibilities in relation to health, safety and wellbeing on a construction site.
- Understand the basics of health, safety and environmental law and the key legal requirements for construction sites.
- Identify construction site hazards and risks, their impact and how to control them.
- Understand site environmental management, including management of waste and ecology.
- Understand how to manage high-risk activities safely.
- Identify any dangers to the health of construction site workers and how to mitigate them.
