NEW 2D to 3D: Thinking, Making & Drawing
In this course, you will explore materials and structures using a variety of models and approaches to generate responses in 2d and 3d (micro/macro). With the emphasis on discovery and process, students will make drawings, paintings and 3dforms or &'invented landscapes'. Using media such as wire, found materials, clay, paper, twine, drawing and paint, the 3d objects created in the studio may stand alone as independent works/sculptures or act as a catalyst for recording sensations and experience in a new way.
