Leadership Skills for Allied Health Professionals
This programme has been designed specifically for allied health professionals working in therapy services at bands 6 and 7. The course will enable team leaders and senior therapists to gain an understanding or brush up on the essential skills involved in the leadership and management of both staff and work related tasks. It is aimed at those wanting to increase their knowledge of leadership and management whilst developing their self-awareness and considering areas for development. It has been developed with input from therapists to ensure it meets the specific needs of this group. The course will take around 18 hours to complete and is composed of a number of different modules, each focussing on a specific topic. On completion, you can submit your learning activities to the course provider and if completed to a satisfactory level, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
