Songwriting Course

At Point Blank Music School, the Songwriting module is designed to inspire students to write great songs by breaking down the process involved in composing great songs and what makes them work. If you want to give yourself the best chance of writing really good songs, it is extremely advantageous for you to have an understanding of music theory, composition and arrangement techniques. We also examine career opportunities in the contemporary music scene and explore copyright, publishing and promotion. Playing an instrument helps with this module but is not essential.
