he Gold Card Training Programme is the most comprehensive electrician course available. We offer weekday, weekend and evening delivery options. JIB ECS (Gold) Card is quickly becoming a necessity when seeking work on commercial sites, or sub-contracting to larger contractors.
The Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) is the occupational certification scheme for electrotechnical workers within the UK. The Gold Card certifies that the cardholder has proved their specific experience and competence through a set, ‘rigorous and robust’ assessment process.
The Joint Industry Board (JIB) are the owners and issuing authority for the ECS in England, Wales & Northern Ireland, whilst north of the border is served by the ‘Scottish JIB’.

Course delivery details
You will start this programme by learning the fundamental requirements when undertaking an electrical installation as well as information relating to the structure and organisation of the electrical industry. This is all covered within the C&G 2365 level 2.
You will then move on to more advanced C&G 2365 level 3 where you will cover scientific principles, fault diagnosis and rectification as well as receive an abundance of knowledge on inspection and testing and installation design.
Upon completion of the Level 2 and 3 Diplomas you will continue your studies by participating in the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – C&G 2382-18 which then seamlessly leads on the very popular and much desired C&G 2391-52 Inspection & Testing course.
At this stage you should be working within the industry. We will then arrange site assessments in order for you to achieve C&G 2357 NVQ 3.
There are three options for this course. Weekdays, weekends or evenings as detailed below:
- Weekdays - Monday and Tuesdays - 9.30am - 4.30pm.
- Weekdays - Wednesdays & Thursdays - 9.30am - 4.30pm
- Evenings - Monday and Tuesdays - 6:30pm - 9:30pm
- Evenings - Wednesdays & Thursdays - 6:30pm - 9:30pm
- Weekends - Saturday and Sundays - 9.30am - 4.30pm.
